I’m a huge RUSH fan. I’m so happy they are in. Finally. If there was an Iconic Rock band from The 1970’s Rush is one of Canada’a greatest.

Geddy Lee, Neil Peart and Alex Lifeson. All The World’s a Stage Boys ! I guess it’s not too rare to see Alex on vocals now. Back in 1976 and 1977 He was mainly on lead guitar. His Style is still stellar!
Alex Lifeson ladies and gentlemen. Guitar, mandolin and whatever is in his hands becomes great music. Together with Geddy’s technical Bass playing and Neil’s incredible stick work. Man, what beautiful music these three create !
All The World’s A Stage is a great Live Album. I saw the concert twice. Once in 1976 and again in 1977, Kitchener, Ontario. Next was Grace Under Pressure in Vancouver 1984. 27 years later I saw them again in Vancouver. Time Machine. With Moving Pictures as the Classic album they revolved the show around.
Geddy has his long hair still. Alex cut his for the 1984 Tour Grace Under Pressure. Here is Geddy doing what he does best. Technical bass playing. Fastest I have ever witnessed.
Neil Peart is one of Rock and Roll’s top Drummers. He has a styyle and sound all his own. It is as with Geddy’s Bass playing and with Alex and his signature Guitar style. Together they are RUSH.Neil’s drum solo’s are never duplicated . His are the the at the level every drummer wants to acheive. Neil Peart sets the Standard.

They are on tour right now and are still on their 40th anniversary. Way to go guys, You are Canada’s Rock Ambassadors !
