WOW AN EPIC EVENT BY THE WORLD’S MOST INFLUENTIAL AND CELEBRATED ARTIST. SIR PAUL McCARTNEY PUT ON A SHOW OF SHOWS 48 YEARS AFTER THE LAST SHOW IN VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA, CANADA !
Novemeber 25, 2012
Hey Sir Paul, we are forever grateful for the success of the show on Sunday November, 25, 2012. It was so profound. Songs we have listened to all our lives, words penned for lyrics from you, songs from the great years with The Beatles, Wings and your successful solo career.
We Love you Paul. Music is the medicine for the soul and your music just never makes anyone feel bad. Happy Music, songs my father used to sing along to.
I remember being with my father and he was singing OBLA DI OBLA DA. The music of many generations. Music people have lived many lives by. Enough accolades?
You do deserve them all. At 70 years old you are an inspiration to all of us. Age is just a number. I like to still think I’m 17, but time and injury has made a few adjustments. Listening to your timeless hits brings me, and I’m sure others, back to the happy times. Thank-you Paul. I saw only the most happy people at the show. The sold-out B.C. Place Stadium. Over 40,000 fans singing along to all your , and the Beatles’ great hits. Again, Timeless favorites.
Paul you gave appreciation to all those who have been inspirational and friends with you. Your loves. To Linda and to your new partner Nancy Shevell and the song Valentine, which you wrote for her. Your dedications to George Harrison and The Ukulele You played which George gave you. The dedication to Jimi Hendrix and singing John Lennon’s song ” Give Peace a Chance” There was just so much Love and happiness. The excitement was being there and WOW- Live And Let Die had super Pyro and BAM ! Knock you out of your seat Explosions. The whole song ! Yeah Baby !
Your talent never wavered. Your signature Bass, an electric guitar, Acoustic, mandolin, ukulele, two different pianos. Did I get them all? All the while singing and performing for three hours. Your band is fantastic.
Here is Abe Laboriel Jr. playing the drums and singing along with Paul.
Abe Laboriel Jr. on drums, Longtime Keyboardist Paul Wickens, Rusty Anderson and Brian Ray on Guitars. All sang with you and and all of us. Everyone knew all the words. The Delta Police Drum and Pipe Band On Mull Of Kintyre was a special surprise. Right on ! Great show. The best for 2012 !
